![]() ![]() Story continues Joe Kipp (3-2): Packers 28, Bears 20 Green Bay wins this one by double digits to move to 5-1. I think Rodgers and Davante Adams will have another big day and so will Aaron Jones. Elgton Jenkins should return this week and if he doesn’t, Yosh Nijman has been serviceable. Yes, they do have a very good pass rush, but the Packers are getting healthier up front. When you pair that with shaky o-line play, I think the Bears offense will struggle. That basically puts the game in the hands of Justin Fields, who will have to out-duel Aaron Rodgers. Chicago is limping into this week and already down two running backs. I’m having a hard time picturing a close game. Brandon Carwile (3-2): Packers 27, Bears 10 The Packers are getting healthier along the offensive line, however, which I believe will make life a bit easier for Aaron Jones and A.J. For the Packers, they’ll face a tough-as-usual Bears defense, who rank inside (or close to) the top-10 in both yards per game and points per game. ![]() I see him making a few wow plays, demonstrating his potential, but I also see too many stalled drives. He has the speed to burn overzealous defenses, and he can make tight-windowed throws. Certainly, he’ll be able to make plays with his feet, so I’ll be curious as to how Joe Barry plans around him. He’s a heck of an athlete with a big arm, but he’s been inconsistent in limited snaps thus far. Justin Fields’ first game against his present and future annual rival will make for interesting viewing. It might not be pretty, but the Packers should win this one comfortably. The guess here is that the Packers control the game along the defensive front, allowing Aaron Rodgers and the offense to chip away at the Bears defense and build a lead. Unless Justin Fields can consistently create big plays or the Packers offense gives the ball away, it’s difficult envisioning the Bears scoring enough points to win the game. The offensive line is slowly getting healthy, and the Packers defense should feast on a rookie quarterback running one of the NFL’s worst offenses. The Bears have won two straight games and can’t be overlooked, especially considering the strength of Chicago’s defense, but this is still a matchup that favors the Packers. ![]()
